We're right downtown in the heart of the historic colonial district, just
a couple blocks from the main catedral and plazas. You don't have to take
a bus to get to all the places you want to see, just open the hostel's
door and there they are! This year Guadalajara's celebrating it's birthday
by completely renovating the sidewalks, making them much wider so that
pedestrians can walk comfortably. Our mayor has seen to it that the downtown
is restored to its original colonial state. Little sweeper cars now crawl
around the city sweeping up garbage, so what you get to experience is
beauty and fun and mariachi (and tequila!)! |
